A Distinctions Advisory Day was held on Sunday 12th July, at Millennium Hall, Main Road, Lacey Green, nr Princes Risborough, HP27 0QU. The advisors were Rosemary Wilman ARPS and Jack Bates FRPS for LRPS advice, and Paul Foley FRPS for ARPS/FRPS advice.

Eighteen people attended for advice, and there were seventeen observers. The event team was provided by the Thames Valley Committee.

Three panels were seen for LRPS projected digital, and the remainder were for prints, including eight for PRPS, one ARPS Nature, one ARPS Contemporary, one FRPS Applied, and the remainder ARPS Visual Art. The distinctions process overall was described by Rosemary Wilman, and the ARPS/FRPS process by Paul Foley. Participants had the opportunity for personal 1:1 advice as well as the advice in open discussion.
