    Weekend Event - Archaeology & Heritage in Northamptonshire

    PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATE FROM THAT ORIGINALLY ADVERTISED This two day event is based in Northamptonshire, and will combine two strands of interest in the group - archaeology and our built heritage. On the Saturday, members will make visits to buildings of interest in the Northampton area - these will include some of the local churches. More info

    The Annual General Meeting of the Visual Journalism group is being held in conjunction with a social evening where members are excouraged to show examples of recent work. The actual meeting should last only 15 - 20 minutes giving plenty time for members to socialise and get to know each other and their work. More info

    Compact Camera and PhotoShop Elements

    Start Time: 10 amFinish time: 5pm Saturday, 4.30pm Sunday A fun but informative workshop for all those who want to know more about compact digital cameras and the basics of PhotoShop Elements. Over two days, this course will teach you the functions and settings of your digital camera, concentrate on down-loading, storing and opening images onto a computer, and the basics of image manipulation using PhotoShop Elements 5.     RPS at the Bucks County Show

    26th August 10

    Once again, Thames Valley Region Committee member Max Pickering presented the Society at the Bucks County Show. A rather damp day led to lower attendance at this large agricultural event. Tents ensured that the craft and photographic presentations went ahead as expected. More info
