  • All those attending Society events are responsible for their own actions. Leaders will, to the best of their knowledge, inform those attending of any dangers or areas that could cause concern. All those aged under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    2011 RPS Members Print Exhibition

    30th November 11 - 29th December 11

    Selection took place on 1st December 2010 and 100 prints were selected for the Exhibition. Unfortunately, Roy Robertson FRPS and David Wheeler FRPS were unable to attend the selection day, but we are thankful that Robert Albright FRPS was able to join selectors Richard Sadler FRPS, Ray Spence FRPS and the RPS President, Rosemary Wilman HonFRPS at very short notice.     The 154th International Print Exhibition in Oldbury, West Midlands

    The 154th International Print Exhibition will be available to view at Smethwick Photographic Society from the 30th November - 23rd December. The exhibition is free to view and open to all.     Peter Kelly - My Work

    Peter Kelly Will show us his phenomenal work. He is regarding as one of the best exponents of black and white photography. Cost of the meeting £5 including tea or coffee and bickies. The Venue is Wilmslow Guild, Bourne Street, Wilmslow SK9 5HD starting at 11:00am with a break for lunch at 12:30 for 30mins, so please bring butties. More info

    DVJ Group Sunday Shoot

    The Christmas Sunday Shoot will take place in Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland, where there are plenty of photo opportunites provided by the Bavarian Christmas Market, the colourful funfair (including a big wheel and helter-skelter) and a number of interesting refreshment stands. More info
