Distinctions & The RPS
The North West Region of The Royal Photographic Society is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an exhibition of members’ prints from the NW Region at the Pyramid Gallery and Atrium in Warrington from 13th February – 30th April 2016.
RPS Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and RPS certificates will be issued to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed prints chosen by the judge(s). Entries are invited from fully paid up members in the North West Region.
Regular Monthly Street walk, when we will again explore the Covent Garden Market, then if time permits the surrounding streets.
A Distinctions Advisory Day is scheduled to be held in Brussels on Saturday, 13 February 2016

DIG Thames Valley: Wildlife Through A Lens. Award winning Wildlife photographer Tom Way goes into what it takes to be a Wildlife Photographer. Talking about the importance of light, the right angles and the emphasis on trying to compose a sellable image when looking through the lens. Plus Eva Worobiec FRPS will be giving us a presentation entitled 'Working in Themes'. Eva's talk shows how working in themes and on projects can lead to better opportunities. She will also bring copies of her newly-published book "Abandoned on the Plains", her 4th joint project with husband Tony Worobiec FRPS with whom people may be familiar.
