  • All those attending Society events are responsible for their own actions. Leaders will, to the best of their knowledge, inform those attending of any dangers or areas that could cause concern. All those aged under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    Jung Sein - Alt werden

    An exhibition of photographs taken by pupils of the Hohenlimburger Gymnasium with the theme "Jung Sein" (To be young) supplimented by photographs from RPS-German Chapter members with the theme "Alt Werden" (To become old). More info

    The 154th International Print Exhibition in Wolverhampton

    26th March 12 - 20th May 12

    The 154th International Print Exhibition will be co-hosted by  University of Wolverhampton School of Art & Design and  the Wolverhampton Art Gallery. The University is holding its first fotofest which is a programme of photography events around the exhibition which includes open lectures and student workshops, plus other exhibitions around Birmingham and Wolverhampton and a Photographers Forum in May.     David Norfolk ARPS at Fenton House

    3rd April 12 - 27th April 12

    David Norfolk ARPS Neverwhere, Somewhere, Anywhere David Norfolk first became seriously interested in photography around 1978 at University in Australia. He was a keen camera club member but even at this stage, rebelled against the prevalent idea that "art" photography had to be monochrome, finding the most interesting images were in colour. More info

    All welcome to view the Visual Art Group Members' Exhibition at the Landmark Centre.  This exhibition is part of the Richmond Photographic Exhibition.  Opening hours are from 12 noon to 6. More info

    A day of photography organised by the RPS Contemporary Group. Douglas May FRPS, Chair of the Contemporary Distinctions Panel, will discuss gaining a Distinction in the Contemporary category with examples of successful Panels. More info

    10 for 10:30 The East Midlands Regions Short AGM will be followed by  Rikki O'Neill FRPS MPAGB FIPF 'Vision ' through the eyes of an Artist  My images using Art techniques in Photoshop, changing image to give a more painterly feel    Rikki will be visiting us from Dundee. More info

    A distinctions Advisory Day, for Licentiateship  & Associateship in Visual Art, Travel and Documentary  & Applied, Venue will be The Dolphin Hotel, Bovey Tracey The assessors will be John Chamberlin FRPS looking at "A"panels with Pete McCloskey FRPS giving advice on "L"panels. More info
