Have you made a photobook that you are really proud of? Are you planning one now? Send in your book for review by three world class selectors. Short-listed entries will be exhibited in London next Autumn.

Entry is open to books created since January 2014 (one per entrant) and can be self-published, book dummies and artist books. Short-listed entries will be exhibited in London next Autumn.

This is an open exhibition and entries are welcomed from all photographers and authors of photobooks: amateurs, professionals, artists and students. Are you planning or have you made a photobook that you are, or expect to be, really proud of but don’t know how to get it out there? Would you like the opportunity to have it reviewed by world class photobook selectors and promoted on an international platform?

Organised by the Contemporary Group of the Royal Photographic Society, a pilot photobook exhibition open to RPS members was held in 2014. This second exhibition is open to all, not just RPS members.

Entries may be self-published, photobook dummies or artist’s photobooks. They may be produced by on-line digital print services, by offset printing or any other processes. Handmade books are also accepted. Only physical copies will be acceptable. No PDF’s or e-books permitted.

Commercial book trade publications will not be allowed.

Only one book per entrant. The book must be the author’s own work, (however books containing found images may be used, provided their source is stated). Books must have been created between 1 January 2014 and the closing date of 31 July 2016.

Selected short-listed books and award winners will be exhibited at the Espacio Gallery, Bethnal Green Road, London E2 7DG, from 18-23 October 2016. Browsing of exhibited books will be encouraged. There will be an accompanying print exhibition.

The short-listed books and award winners will be exhibited, by arrangement with Fotonow, at St Saviours Hall, Barbican, Plymouth PL1 2NN on 29-30 October 2016 and at the Impressions Gallery, Bradford, BD1 1SD on 12 November 2016.
