International Print Exhibition

Being selected for the IPE is a great achievement and offers valuable exposure to photographers just starting out in their careers as well as supporting professionals, introducing their work to an international audience.

International Print Exhibition 158

The 158th exhibition opened in October 2015 at East London's Photomonth International Photography Festival and toured the UK until August 2016. Renowned photographers Simon Roberts HonFRPS and 2001 Turner Prize nominee Richard Billingham took part in this year's selection panel.

2014 saw a record number of young photographers selected for the exhibition and narrative surfaced as a strong aspect of the show. The selection panel included Northern Irish Photographer and Professor of Photography, Paul Seawright.

115 prints were selected for the 2013 exhibition, from over 4,000 images submitted by entrants in 59 countries. Documentary work excelled and it is notable this year that all award winners were Italian photographers.

From over 3000 entries across all continents of the world, the selection panel - including photographic artist Tom Hunter HonFRPS and the Guardian's Head of Photography Roger Tooth FRPS selected 123 prints for the 2012 exhibition.
