The RPS International Print Exhibition is the longest standing exhibition of its kind in the world, having been held almost every year since 1854. Embracing all genres and styles of photography, discover the images selected for the 157th exhibition.
The 157th Exhibition finished touring on 16 June 2015. Details of the 158th International Print Exhibition tour will be available online before the end of August.
Over 6,600 images were submitted to the 157th competition from photographers in 72 countries worldwide. From the 100 prints selected for the exhibition, the photographers represent 23 countries, with 28% being under 30 years of age.
Paul Seawright, Photographer and Professor of Photography at the University of Ulster comments on the exhibition: "For me the work that stands out in the exhibition marries excellent photographic skill with ideas, producing prints rich in meaning, message and technique. The subject matter ranges from the sublime and unusual to the everyday".
View the selected images, including the Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners in the slideshow gallery. An exhibition catalogue featuring all of the selected images is currently available from the RPS Shop.
The International Print Exhibition 157 is kindly supported by Metro and Hahnemühle.
