The 158th exhibition opened in October 2015 at East London's Photomonth International Photography Festival and toured the UK until August 2016. Renowned photographers Simon Roberts HonFRPS and 2001 Turner Prize nominee Richard Billingham took part in this year's selection panel.

Embracing all genres and styles of photography, the International Print Exhibition combines photographic skill with ideas rich in meaning, message and technique. This unique selection of 100 images, curated by a panel of renowned photographers and photographic professionals, will ultimately offer something that will challenge your ideas and capture your imagination.

Director of FORMAT International Photography Festival, Louise Clements, comments on the exhibition process,"Director of FORMAT International Photography Festival, Louise Clements, comments on the exhibition process, "It is a special challenge to select an exhibition, and awards, from single images. The single image is unforgiving, there is nowhere to hide - in a series you have accompanying images which work together to build up a whole. The single image however ultimately has to speak for itself. When determining the final group we were interested in representing a diverse array of photographic practices and high quality ideas and works, from wet plate collodion to pin sharp digital, from nature caught in the field through to constructed narratives." Louise Clements, 2015 Selector.

Photographer Simon Roberts HonFRPS adds “I believe we have selected an exemplary range of work, reflecting different age groups, nationalities and the varying interests, methodology and vibrant aesthetics of the photographic medium today.” Simon Roberts HonFRPS, 2015 Selector.

An exhibition catalogue is available featuring all selected images (£10 plus P&P). Purchase in the online shop.
