Douglas Vernimmen LRPS works as a Scientist at the University of Oxford. Born in Belgium, he developed an early interest in Photography. An active exhibitor in international salons, his photographs have been shown in more than 20 countries and he is recognised by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (CPAGB) and the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS).

His photographic interests are Portraiture, Oxford buildings and its People and Music. This exhibition will be a selection of 30 of his portraits. His models are usually Friends, Colleagues or their Children, People he met in the street, and some celebrities including Jimmy Carter, Colin Dexter and the Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University.
