This exhibition of photographs by Nick Scott FRPS shows young performers from the competition Rock Challenge.  Schools enter the charitable event with dance and drama performances which they choreograph and perform themselves, on a story or theme of their choice.   The 2008 tour, which Nick photographed, involved over 18000 young people representing 298 schools at 38 events throughout the UK.

The event is described as a ‘drugs free high’ for 7 to 18 year olds. Through a venue with professional production, stage crew and a large audience, a credible alternative to drugs or crime is provided.

Nick has been a photographer since the early 70s. Since retiring as a police forensic photographer he has become a freelance photographer and Chair of the Royal Photographic Society’s Associateship and Fellowship Applied Panel.
