About Time
1st April - 29th April 2010

Rosemary Wilman Hon FRPS, is the President of The Royal Photographic Society. This Exhibition demonstrates her wide ranging photographic interests, including travel, landscape, natural history, sport, people and, as she says, ‘anything that takes her eye’.  This exhibition of 30 prints includes some panels relating to her travels in recent years, to Cuba, India, and the USA, with some of the Yellowstone images shot this year.

“As President, despite my administrative work and commitment to the role, my own photography remains very important. It is just a case of trying to find the time! Of late, by necessity, most of my photography has taken place while on my travels.”

“When I started the selection process for this exhibition, I knew that I had to include one monochrome image of my grandson, Ben, which was taken when he was just one year old, although most people think he looks older in it. Now aged 13, he continues to like this picture. It hangs on my living room wall, and will move elsewhere when he wants it to (and yes, I have asked recently). In addition, I wanted to recall my photography with my late husband, Derry, and have selected a few favourite images from our time together.”
