Hello and welcome to the RPS DI Group’s latest information page. 

We look forward to another great year of progress within the Digital Imaging Group as we strive to consolidate our position as the largest Specialist Interest Group within the RPS.

Looking ahead for 2010

On Sunday, 18^th April we look forward to the DI Group AGM. 
The AGM presents an opportunity for all members to make a contribution to the structure and direction of the group.

There’s a great afternoon lecture with digital imaging guru and workflow expert, Mike McNamee.  Mike will present an illustrated talk, 'The Impact of Digital Imaging on the Creative Process'.

Members’ Print Exhibition

We select prints for the DIG Members’ Exhibition’ at the AGM and we encourage everyone to enter.  We select the best print from each members’ entry – this way you are guaranteed of a place in the exhibition. We like to present new and exciting work to illustrate the best in digital imaging – so if you have ‘something different’ we do encourage you to enter it.  We also present our exhibition as a DVD issued to all members and as a bonus, we hope to present the exhibition at the Think Photography show to be held in November.  This way, even more people will see your work.

DI Workshop in April

Our ‘Portraits, Fashion & Nudes Workshop’ in Cheltenham on 24^th & 25^th. April is now fully booked.  However we do have a ‘waiting list’ just in case of any cancellations.  So if you’re keen, it may well be worth placing your name upon the list. Regions
The DI Group has a regional structure.  Meetings take place throughout the year on a regular basis and you should be able to locate a meeting near you.  You are very welcome to come along to meet fellow photographers and enthusiasts.
 
Two of our regions are in need of a ‘boost’.  In particular, East Anglia and Scotland would benefit from someone willing to take on the role of ‘Regional Organiser’.  The position is not arduous – especially when one is sharing the organisational tasks with colleagues.

DIGITAL IMAGING WEEKEND WORKSHOP 24-5 APRIL 2010 AT CHELTENHAM FILM STUDIOS £115.00 Per Person for 2 days.

The workshops will be lead by Graham Whistler FRPS (studio portraits), Clive Haynes FRPS (RAW files and Photoshop) and Simon Walden: Principal Photographer at Cheltenham Film Studios (fashion and nude photography).

Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 36.
There is a 10% discount for DIG members!!
