Digital Imaging Group Members Forum
The Digital Imaging Group Members Forum is an excellent way to send samples of your work for other members to comment on. It is also a very good place to ask for help or advice on almost any photographic topic.
The link below will take you to the RPS Forum page and you can the scroll down to the Digital Imaging Group section.
Here you find a large selection of members work and you will be able to see the various comments from other members.
RPS Digital Imaging Group Forum.
If when you get to this page you are unable to see the Digital Imaging Group Section you may need to contact Tony Mant at Fenton House to get your name added to the Members Listing, which will give you access to this Special Interest Group area.
The link to Tony is below.
Below is a guide written by John Long ARPS which gives very useful help on how to upload your photographs to the Forum.
Prepare your picture - and size it to approx 800 pixels longest edge and 72 dpi.
1. Firstly, click on the 'START NEW TOPIC' box top right
2. A window opens - type in the title of your picture under 'TOPIC TITLE'
3. In the large window, type any text about the picture, possibly where taken etc
4. Scroll down to a blue bar with the word 'ATTACHMENTS'
5. Click on the Browse window - this takes you to your computer and load the picture
6. Click on 'ATTACH THIS FILE'
7. Scroll down and click on 'POST NEW TOPIC'
If you have not typed any text about the picture, when you get to stage 7 you may get a message which reads "You must enter a post" If this happens, click on "Add to post" and the forum allows you to complete your upload.
If posting a picture for others to comment on - you are expected to reciprocate and comment on others, however brief.
