Martin Addison FRPS

Martin has always been interested in creating pictures which intrigue, sometimes using close up techniques to explore subjects in depth.  In camera multiple exposures are used to add texture and slow shutter speeds create mystery. Martin’s inspiration comes from everything around him and in particular the natural world.

Martin has been an enthusiastic photographer for over 40 years and has run a number of courses in Creative Seeing, Photoshop and Painter techniques in addition to individual tuition. Martin also lectures to Photographic Societies on a variety of topics including Painter, Photoshop, Lightroom and ProShow Producer.
Martin lectures jointly with Clive Haynes FRPS with panels of prints on an 18ft illuminated display stand and also Widescreen Audio-Visual sequences shown on a 16 x 6 ft screen.

Corel Painter has become a particular focus for Martin in recent years and has resulted in the publication of three instructional books on how to use Painter with photographs. His latest book ‘Painter 12 for Photographers’ was published in 2011 and is heavily illustrated to show the techniques and methods required to master the programme.
