From time to time other learned societies collaborate with the RPS and vice versa to allow both societies to bring to the attention of their members activities that may be of interest to them.

We have agreed to co-sponsor a meeting on high speed imaging with the Institute of Physics. The meeting is entitled High speed imaging for dynamic testing of materials and structures and will take place in November 2013. For more information visit the Institute of Physics website.

We have agreed with the International Colour Society to be a cooperating society for their AIC 2013 congress taking place 8-12 July in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.  This event is likely to be of interest to imaging science group members many who take a great interest in colour.
