Nicki Gwynn-Jones ARPS

I have always loved birds.  From the rambunctious ballet at the garden feeder to the exquisite stillness of an egret, plumage tousled by the wind, they are endlessly bewitching.

I particularly enjoy high-key photography and I often work with slower shutter speeds in order to capture an image that is much less literal, attempting instead to reveal the essence and spirit of the subject.

I took up photography in 2007 and in 2009 I was awarded an ARPS in Visual Art.  I regularly exhibit my work.
