Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre (Amberley Working Museum), contained on a 36 acre site close to the South Downs in Sussex, is devoted to the industrial heritage of the south-east. The diverse collection includes reconstructions of craft workshops, with crafts often demonstrated, a village garage and a bus garage, and transport and industrial artefacts large and small.
There is a restaurant on the site, and the party will meet up partway through the day for refreshments.
The site entrance is adjacent to Amberley Station, on the B2139 between Arundel and Storrington.
The group will meet in the car park at 1030. The standard admission price is £10 (£9 for over 60's).
