John Margetts LRPS

My interest in photography started when an enlightened teacher started a photography group at school. I must admit that I did not know then what an adventure I was embarking on.

In the early 1960\'s I studied photography at St Mary\\\'s College in Ealing and passed my IBP exams following which I became a fully professional photographer. I eventualy opened my own photographic studio in West Drayton Middlesex taking mainly Industrial and Commercial photgraphs. In addition to this I developed a flourishing business in both Wedding and Family Portrait photograpy.

This was followed by a long break away from professional photography which was eventually broken in 2002 when I started again but this time using a digital camera and I later rejoined the Royal Photographic Society.

Having recently achieved my Licentiateship the hard work now starts as I begin working towards obtaining my Associateship.
