Background to the Exhibition

The International Images for Screen Exhibition (formerly The International Projected Image Exhibition) went digital in 2007 - it was previously a Slide Exhibition. In 2011, the slides section was dropped, making the Exhibition wholly digital. The Exhibition has been well established within the photographic fraternity for many years and continues to attract a very high entry worldwide. It is an open competition in which there are digital sections in General and Nature categories.

The General category welcomes a wide range of subject matter from the artistic to the documentary. The Nature category depicts observations from all branches of natural history.  Each section has its own specialist selectors, usually Fellows of the Society.

There are Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards in all categories and the exhibition has, for some years, been awarded recognition by the Photographic Society of America and acceptances can be credited towards PSA Star Ratings.

The Exhibition is produced on a Presentation CD-Rom which all entrants reeive.  The CD is available for showing at Camera Clubs and photographic events.
