Photoworks are partnering FotoDocument and BioRegional to commission ten public space photo essays launching during Brighton Photo Biennial 2014 and to remain in situ for ten months. The theme is One-Planet Living and the deadline for submissions is 14 April 2014.

Each of the ten essays will be themed on one of the principles of One Planet Living and works will be installed in a corresponding key public space in Brighton & Hove.

Submissions are welcomed from established and from emerging photographers, not in full-time education, who must be over 18 and based in the UK.

Each selected photographer will receive a fee of £2.5k to include travel and subsistence. Further funds are available to cover printing and installation costs.

The judging panel includes Simon Roberts, Francis Hodgson, Nina Emett, Celia Davies and Melanie Friend.
