Closes: 31st October 2018.

The International Garden Photographer of the Year competition and exhibition specialises in garden, plant, flower and botanical photography. It is run in association with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

The main exhibition is held annually at Kew, with a rolling programme of touring exhibitions in the UK and all over the world.

The competition is open to everyone, anywhere in the world. Images do not have to be taken in a specified year and there is no distinction given between professional and amateur photographers.

There are eleven main categories to enter and numerous special awards including Young Garden Photographer of the Year and a mobile only category, Gardens on the Go. Prizes include £7,500 for the overall competition winner and £2,000 and a Royal Photographic Society gold medal for the Portfolio section.
