Love to Learn and The Royal Photographic Society launch a new photography competition
- Published 10th August 2012

Pearson plc's Love to Learn launches its very first photography competition in collaboration with The Royal Photographic Society. Open to all levels of ability, Love to Learn invites amateur photographers of all ages to enter their favourite images under the categories of Nature, Landscape, People or General, with a maximum of four entries per person.
Four winning images will be selected by discerning judges including John Roe, photographer and course tutor for Love to Learn: Digital Photography, and Roy Robertson, President of the Royal Photographic Society. The photographers of the winning images will each receive DK books, Love to Learn online courses and a one-year membership to The Royal Photographic Society. In addition, free gifts will be given away over the period of the competition to Love to Learn Facebook and Twitter followers.
To enter the competition, photographers should email their chosen entries to ltlcomp@pearson.com with: the title of their entry; the chosen category; name, and a caption that best describes the photo.
Roy Robertson, President of The Royal Photographic Society comments: "I want to see that the photographer understands the subject, and can manage the technical aspects of photography so that they do not intrude, but enhance my enjoyment and understanding of the image.”
The closing date is Sunday 9th September 2012. For terms and conditions, please visit the Love to Learn blog.
