MA Visual Communication is an accessible post graduate program for specialist Photographers, Graphic Designers, and Illustrators. The course examines urban context in three international cities, where students will generate individual projects using their specialist medium. There will also be the opportunity to collaborate with those in the other specialist areas. The ethos of the course is to encourage individuals to share ideas and learn from those in allied disciplines and from unfamiliar cultures. We believe that working and making connections in this way could lead to some very positive and long lasting professional associations.

The course is distinctive in its structure. Its students will gather at four, week-long residential sessions, at Bath Spa University and in two other international cities. In our first year these will be Bangalore in India and New York in the USA.
