WEXAS Travel launches wildlife photography competition

  • WEXAS Travel, a Society corporate patron, and leading tailor-made travel company has launched a new wildlife photography competition. It offersthe chance to win a superb self-drive tailor-made trip for two to South Africa. The competition, supported by The Royal Photographic Society, will be judged by the President of The Society, photographer and BBC TV presenter Jonathan Scott, and Duncan Mills, Deputy Editor of WEXAS Traveller magazine.

    First prize is an outstanding self-drive tailor-made trip for two to South Africa, which takes in Cape Town, the Winelands, the Garden Route and the game parks of Eastern Cape, home to the Big Five, where the competition winners can get creative and put their photographic skills into practice.

    In addition, the runner-up will receive a Canon EOS 650D DSLR camera with double lens kit, meaning they receive a second lens (55-250mm) to add to the standard kit (18-55mm), making this an excellent package.

    As well as receiving their prizes, the winner and runner-up will have their photographs published in the spring issue of Traveller magazine. They’ll also receive a one-year free membership to the Royal Photographic Society and its Natural History special interest group.
