The winner of the recent Amateur Photographer / The Macallan photography competition was Mrs Cecelia Allen of Ventnor, Isle of Wight. Mrs Allen wins a free membership to The Society for one year and a bottle of Macallan whisky.  The competition attracted over 1000 entries.

The Society’s Director-General , Michael Pritchard, who broke the news to Mrs Allen said: “Mrs Allen was both delighted and somewhat shocked by the news of her win. I know that she will find The Society an excellent way to help develop her own photographic interests through attending meetings and interacting with other members. I hope Mrs Allen’s win will be the start of a long relationship with The Society”.
