Artsreach & Villages in Action commissioned a fundraising celebratory 2012 calendar to go a little way towards making up for both of their reduced public funding incomes.
The resulting 2012 Jurassic Journey calendar, which costs just £8, features stunning photographs taken by Society member and artist-in-residence Ben Osborne HonFRPS on his recent Jurassic Journey project. These include evocative shots taken along the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, of St Catherine’s Chapel in Abbotsbury by moonlight (where time-lapse provides a star ‘shower’); the Cobb in Lyme Regis, Swanage harbour, stormy skies over Worbarrow Bay, plus wildlife including guillemots on Durlston cliffs and Burnet moths, as well as remarkable varied examples of the geology found along the coast.
Give a feel-good gift – help Artsreach/Villages in Action fundraise and at the same time pick up the perfect Christmas present! Ben’s sumptuous images provide a tantalising glimpse of the richness of the journey he has made along Dorset & East Devon's iconic coastline.
