The Society made a small presentation to John Long ARPS in recognition of his long service to The Society's distinctions panels. John has read Associate and Fellow applicants' supporting statements for twenty-one years and stepped back from this role at the end of last year.
Andy Moore, Distinctions Manager comment: "John has been a great supporter of The Society's distinctions for very many years performing a valuable service for the panels and for the assessment audiences. The Distinctions Department felt it right to mark John's change of role and we are pleased that he will continue to read for the Distinctions Advisory Board".
John's role on the Assoiciate panels which are open to the public is being taken over by former television journalist Peter Hayes FRPS who will bring his own skills to bear on the role.
