Those members who have visited The Society's premises at South Audley Street, London, The Octagon, Bath, and Fenton House, Bath (and perhaps earlier premises, too?), will have seen a large oak board recording each of The Society's Presidents from 1853. There are some sixty-four names including Roy Robertson and each is precisely picked out in gold leaf with the name and start and end date of thier presidency.

With the addition of newly-elected Roy Robertson's name the large board is now full - except for the date that Roy's presidency ends, due to be 2013.

The current board is a familiar part of The Society's history for many people and will remain in situ at Fenton House. The Society will need to give thought to how Roy's successors are commemorated.
