The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners for Stage 1 of our Celebrate a Summer of Sport competition have been announced. The theme was ‘Sport for All’ and photographers were asked to capture the action and the atmosphere of all kinds of sports and games in the community. All sporting activities could be considered from fun activities, like a game of football with your friends in the park, to organised community sporting events and competitions. 

We had some fantastic images submitted and you can view the winning images and competition finalists on our competition website.  A big thank you goes to all our entrants and to our judges, President Roy Robertson HonFRPS, Exhibition Chairman John Simpson ARPS and The Times Chief Sports Photographer, Marc Aspland FRPS for their work in selecting the finalists from over 2,300 images submitted!

Upload your own images to Stage 2, ‘Spirit of the Games’, which marks the countdown to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.  Show us how the world is getting into the spirit of the world’s greatest sporting event. Entry is free and open until September so there is plenty of time to upload your images and be in for a chance of winning some great Panasonic prizes.
