I have been privileged to be able to follow the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and their crew at work and in training around the UK, documenting the fantastic work they carry out from a unique perspective.  From rescues at sea to inland flooding in Tewkesbury and Gloucester the principal is the same; to save lives at risk from water, with tireless dedication. This access has allowed me to capture the views that the media and the public do not get to see.

For the RNLI, corporate brand is very important historically and for fundraising, with the boats and their crew needing to stand out to be seen, both to the public who provide all of the charities’ funds, and importantly to casualties anticipating a rescue. From this panel many images have been used by the RNLI for publicity purposes, as well as in national newspapers and government reports.
