John Marris

I started digital photography by taking an Adult Education course 'Fun With Photos' using Adobe Elements 2 and continued through digital imaging courses using Elements 4 & 7 and then on to an NCFE photography course.

My first digital camera was the Fuji MX1200 compact. I upgraded to the bridge camera Panasonic DMZ20, and then a Canon 450D. I now own a Canon 7D.

The Adobe Elements 7 did not cater for Canon Raw from the Canon 7D, so I used the Canon DPP software to process my RAW pictures. When I did get the Adobe Elements 11 and used the ACR I found the finish 'different', so I only used Elements to resize and copyright my photos

I hope my gallery will show a progression through the different stages of my journey in photography.
