Dr.Unni Krishnan Pulikkal

Since childhood, I have been drawn to the wonders of the natural world. A new mode of expression and understanding opened for me with the first pictures I took 20years ago. The camera, and the pursuit of the sublime in nature, have allowed me to better understand myself and the world around me.

Years ago a Common Grass Yellow butterfly settling itself on a Clerodendron flower invited me to explore with him the wonders of Nature. Twenty years and thousands of photographs later, I had my first international exhibition at the prestigious Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Ohio, USA. In October of this year I was featured  by Better Photography Magazine of India as one of the top ten wildlife photographers of India.

The highest honor is to be recognized by your peers for excellence in something you love.
