I inherited my interest in photography from my dad who showed me how to develop and print black and white images. Originally my interest was in low light photography which enabled me to take photos of my band on stage. In them days the fastest films around were only rated at 400asa so I used to push the film speed sometimes to 1600asa to get a result in the dim, stage lighting. When my band split up in 1982, I moved on to pictorial photoraphy and gained a licentiateship in 1994, using the City and Guild exemption method. Digital imagery has now given me an interest in colour photography and I am now fully converted having several digital cameras.
