Jonathan Patrick Smith LRPS

My interest in Photography started at around the age of fourteen. Growing up in North Wales, landscape seemed the natural subject matter.

Moving to London, I went on to study photography. Firstly City & Guilds in Professional Photography and then an HND in PhotoMedia. In my spare time I produced a series of Postcards of Wimbledon & Richmond areas.

Following college I gained commissions and freelance work from a number of London magazines and agencies. My published work has ranged from Architecture to Fashion.

I joined the Royal Photographic Society in 2002 and gained a LRPS distinction in 2004 for a series of images of Welsh sea scapes.

My current personal projects include a study of the new Oslo Opera house in Norway and an exihibion of images of Llandudno Pier taken over two years. This will be held in North Wales in Jan 2009.
