Born in Portsmouth, England in 1969, I have always been drawn to the photographic medium as a means of communicating feeling.

I bought my first Canon (EOS 350D) over 3 years ago and was immediately hooked.  I now use a Canon EOS 5D which I am getting to know slowly but surely.

By day I run a small traditional boatyard in Portsmouth harbour and whilst it keeps me busy, I try to snatch time to nurture my growing interest in photography.

I love the human form and if I was to say I had a favourite area of photography it would be portraiture, there is so much to learn.
