I'm from Castle Douglas in Scotland originally, but now live in Preston, Lancashire. I recieved my first SLR for my 21st birthday, a Practica B100. I progressed to a Nikon 301, Nikon FE2 and now use a Nikon D70. I would describe myself as an "over enthusiastic amateur". The only photographic qualification I have is an OCA from Runshaw College. My favourite subjects at the moment are landscapes in Northumberland and anyone willing to stand in front of my, newly purchased, studio lights.  All criticism welcome.
