Peter Benton

 I am a retired Architect  having a lot of fun in my lightroom.

I spent long years in the dark as a \'wet\' operator from quarter plate glass to 35mm, I recently bought a toy digtal, frustrating, the damn thing does instantly things that used to take a lot of skill.

My main interest is photographing buildings, illustrating them as they are so I am one of a tiny group of RPS members with this aberation. Most such of my illustrations are taken with a 35mm PC Nikkor, ( it cost £99 in 1972) old fashioned manual but one of the best lenses made in my estimation. Superb for close up and copying also.
