Barry Holmes FRPS

My photographic interests are varied. I enjoy close-up, portraiture and travel photography.

I gained my Associateship in 2004 with a set of images taken at macro/micro magnification of flowers and insects in the garden.

My Fellowship was awarded in November 2011, for a portfolio on the anatomy of insects and spiders using focus stacking to help bring out the fine details in each of the images.

I try to encourage friends interested in photography to pursue recognition for their work by applying for the RPS distinctions.

I also do occasional judging of photographic competitions within the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs, and give various talks on photography at camera clubs in Oxfordshire.
