Barry Holmes
I have been taking photographs ever since my uncle gave me a Kodak Brownie 127 camera as a Christmas present many, many years ago. I currently use Nikon digital and film cameras.
My photographic interests are varied. I gained my ARPS with a set of images taken at macro/micro magnification of flowers and bugs in the garden.
The majority of my photographic work is taken on holiday, as depicted with a few recent images from Namibia and India. I have for many years created audio visual programmes as an outlet for my work.
I am chairman of the Witney Photo Group, and I try to encourage members to pursue recognition for their photographic work by applying for the RPS distinctions. I also do occasional judging of photographic competitions in the CACC region.
