He now enjoys creative photography including travel photography as a hobby. His life long passion for photography has resulted in his being awarded the Fellowship of the British Institute of Professional Photography, Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society and Honorary Fellowship of the Master Photographers Association.

He has travelled extensively during his professional life for attending conferences, meetings and for holidays. Going to Kenya for photography is now an annual event. He recently returned from Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar where he shot more than 3000 pictures. Last year he took on a personal project to photograph the people of Pakistan. The fascinating aspect of his project on pictorial documentation of the ordinary people of Pakistan in their daily environment is that he spent time with them and understood his human subjects before undertaking the photography resulting into full consent and co-operation from the people he was photographing. He is currently working on putting up an exhibition of his photographs of the People of Pakistan.
