My major interest in photography has always been focused on the  landscape, but I now find that I am becoming more interested in abstracting details or in the construction of  the composition itself, rather than in simply representing the wider view.

I live in North Fife, and so much of my work focuses on the landscapes and coastal seascapes of this part of the East of Scotland.

My last solo exhibition was a personal study of the estuary of the River Tay between Perth and the North Sea. A few of the images from this exhibition are shown here. Some other images from the exhibition are shown on my web site. A few of these images have already been successful in competions and exhibitions.
