Malcolm Padgham (ARPS)

I have had a camera for as long as I can remember. My first being the ubiquitous Box Brownie and I have been through all formats of camera. With the onset of a rarer form of arthritis my photography looked as though it would no longer be an option, loading films became a slow process and I began to damage them. But my saviour came in the shape of digital, dropping in a CF card is so much easier. I have always had an interest in nature and it just seems so right to engage in it photographically. With my physical limitations I am quite happy to find a location and just wait. This also means I can observe what is happening at my feet and a natural conclusion was macro work.
