Richard Parker
My name is Richard Parker and I am an amateur photographer based in Kent.
I have always been keen on photoraphy but things really took off when I got my first Digital SLR in December 2006.
My primary interest is in Nature and Wildlife photography. The majority of my photographs are of British wildlife and Flora but occasionally something more exotic may appear if I am lucky enough to travel further afield.
Photographic Achievements
November 2007 - Zebra Portrait chosen for inclusion in Durrell Trust Calendar
June 2008- Lesser Celandine photo chosen for cover of DSLR User magazine.
July 2009 - A number of images featured in "All along the Watchtowers" a field guide produced by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN)
March 2010 - One of my Up Helly Aa photos goes on display as part of a 'Intangible Cultural Heritage in Scotland' stand at the Scottish Parliament.
June 2010 - Red Throated Diver photograph used on the Garmouth map board produced by the Moray Way Association.
