I am a life long resident of Maryland where my family settled around 1700. I live in Maryland on the east coast of the U.S.A. I have been involved in Photography as a hobby and professionally for over thirty years. During those years several times I put my photography on hold while working and supporting the U.S. Navy here and overseas. Only since becoming injured in 2000 did I again pick up my camera\'s, more out of need as a diversion to keep my sanity and again have a feeling of accomplishment. My interest in photography began as young kid while watching my family use their Argus 75 Twin Lens film camera at the beach. Since that time I used 35mm\'s, 110 formats, 2 1/4, polaroid instant film camera\'s, and the latest is my digital camera\'s which started with a 2 mp disc camera to a 14 mp Pentax.
I love to capture life and people for everyone to see and share these images with the world. I believe that photography captures a moment in history and that the photographers job is to record that moment as an observer. It\'s good to capture old barns, buildings, old waterman boats etc before they are gone forever. I would just like to say that I proud to be a member of the world\'s oldest photography organization and will do my best to uphold it\'s principles.
