I love photography. Photography for me is not about self expression per se as so many photographers try to communicate their art but about simply trying to capture the uncaptureable inextractable beauty that our imaginations try to dream up from the natural world. 

I am a junior doctor about to undertake core surgical training in Edinburgh. One intention is to formulate a thorough photographic diary encompassing experiences outside of surgery over the next two years. It provides an enormous release from surgical pursuit and practice.
