Discerning Images Photography was formed in 2005 to operate in the expanding Wedding, Events, Model, Commercial & Portait markets. Jeff (Discerning Images Photography Co-Owner) and I have over 50 years photographic experience between us, starting with black and white developing in the 70's and progressing to using the high quality lastest technology. It's been an interesting journey and one that stands us in good stead when dealing with the numerous requirements of todays clients.

 Now that our reputation has grown a bit more, we are enjoying the challenges of increasing our profile and business. We both have 'Blue Chip Corporate' sales & marketing experience and qualifications (GSI Bachelors etc) but love the fact that it's the quality of the finished product that sells and not just the ability to open doors. We have a very healthy business relationship and still compete daily against each other for impact and the highest quality standards. We think we are pretty good (more importantly, so do our clients), but we are realistic to know that there is always room for improvement.

We are both impressed by the standard of work shown in the RPS portfolios and appreciate the skill, patience and sometimes that little bit of luck which lead to the stunning images presented.

The images shown are some of my favourites and are basically my 'fun' pictures. Whether I'm working or not, the camera is constantly with me. All enthusiasts or professionals will understand exactly where I'm coming from.
