I have been a keen photographer since boyhood when I was given a Box Brownie. This portfolio is representative of my strong interest in travel photography. In recent years my pictures have focused on travels to Asia, opportunites brought about largely by my lecturing career. I am an advocate of taking a record that captures the spirit of a place. For me, this means predominantly photographing people in their own environments, how their surroundings shapes daily life, and the effect mankind is having on  changing the world around us. In an ever evolving world I look for constancy of human nature and signs of change for the good.
