Keith Morris LRPS
Started out as a press photographer with The Bristol Evening Post newspaper. Moved on to the defence industry after four years doing product/trials photography and video/film production. Began working for myself in 1990 initially in Bristol. Moved to South Devon in 2000 my workload is now predominantly weddings with some commercial work. Past clients have included Lloyds Tsb, British Aerospace and the Spanish Tourist Board. Went completely digital in 2006 finally selling my Hasselblad and Linhof 5" x 4" outfits. I started with the old Nikon F the pressmans favourite and remained loyal to the brand, now using D3x D300 and compliment of lenses. In many ways the "old days" were more interesting watching the image appear in the darkroom was always magical. Saying that I would not want to go back, the creative possibilites with digital are endless anything is possible. Just updated my online portfolio, been playing around with a clever little program called ShftN. It was written by a German guy called Marcus Hebel use it to correct converging verticals on architecture shots giving digital files an almost 5" x 4" view camera perspective. The program is freeware and essential for anyone into buildings or architecture.
