 I  am Sri Lankan born in the southern part of island where the starts are so close to the land.The brooks and creeks the undergrowh of the jungle, were my second home.I was closer  to the sea where clouds gathered in the evening horizon to create rituals to the setting sun.I hold first class hons, degree from the university of Sri Jayawaridenapure Sri Lanka where I spcialized in Bio Geography, that present the spatial patterns of fauna and flora are minusculy observed.I am also member of institute of SriLankan Photographers and London photographic assocation UK.

 I joined the Inland Revenue Department of SriLanka Government and have been there for the last 26 years. I am commissioner of inland revenue at present.My duties call upon me to serve in all part of the island that gave me immense oppotunities to explore my field of photography.The cocodiles in Yala, vilpatthu and Minnariya national parks where elephants roam freely,sometime devastating life have given me last long memories in my 23 years of photography.

 The Singharaja forest where its rains throughout the year and undergrowth full of surprises along everyfoot has been fasinating.

 I  have roamed among the ruins of grate past kindoms of Anuradhapure and Polonnaruwa,where  culture and religion have lived together for many generations. These  experiancesof long years behind me.I venture in to the future confidently to present audiances with whole heartdly.

 I have about 800 photographic images represnting 35 mm.,medium format and large format(panorama) in the area of wildlife and nature photography in SriLnaka.
